This site consists of a number of tools including Select, a national pre-qualification service which Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council has adopted as a key part of our contracting process. It provides either a self certification route or an accreditation route to the same standard as the UK Government-backed Constructionline service, with which it shares a vetting service provider in Capita.
Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council has adopted this as it supports a ’do it once’ ethos. Suppliers registered with BiP Select benefit from being seen by thousands of public sector buyers across the UK, so improving their chances of securing public sector business
